The Beehive Dining Rooms, No. 24 Albert Road, stood at the junction with Auberon Street. The proprietor was M Heaslip. Note the "H" in a diamond at the corner of the shop fascia, denoting a fire hydrant located nearby in the pavement. Firemen often prided themselves on knowing where all the hydrants were located in their area. The house next door has iron railings along the front wall and an attractive iron finial on the bonnet of the bay window.
