New Docklands Light Railway and the Jubilee Line into Stratford Station.
Since the railway first arrived in Stratford in 1839, it has been subject to changes and development and continues to serve as a hub for local and national (and international) rail services. This view looks north towards Stratford and shows the DLR line under construction to the right of the picture, follwing the alignment of the former Richmond to North Woolwich Line track-bed.
In the background can be seen the Buildings Trades College, which continues the work of the Carpenters' Company. (See separate article on the Company's estates in Stratford).
