RT 2776 on Bus Roue 101

RT 2776 was one of a batch of London Transport Buses that spent time in Los Angeles in 1952. This Bus and also RT2775 were usually based at Upton Park Garage and ran on Routes 101 and 86. Both Buses had plaques installed at the front of the lower and upper decks giving details of the time they spent in the USA. RT 2776 was distinctive because it had an early form of "Air Conditioning" installed  which necessitated having the "Eyebrows" in the roof at the front of the bus and another green nest to the drivers cab on the lower deck.
